Advance Intimation for Allotment of Examination City to the Applicants of Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2026 Session 1 – Reg.

Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2026 Session 1 Exam Notice The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (Main)-2026 Session-1 in various cities throughout the country and 15 cities outside India. The exam will take place on 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28 January 2026, with Paper 1 (B.E./B. Tech) and Paper 2A (B. Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Planning) being conducted on 29 January 2026. The advance intimation for Allotment of Examination City has been hosted on the website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/ for candidates to download their Examination City Intimation slip and check their allotted examination city.

• Date of Exam: 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28 January 2026 for Paper 1 and 29 January 2026 for Paper 2A and 2B
• Shift timings:
  • Paper 1 (B.E./B. Tech): 09:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon and 03:00 P.M. to 06:00 P.M.
  • Paper 2A (B. Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Planning): 09:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.
• Candidate login credentials required to check/download Examination City Intimation slip from https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/ w.e.f 08 January 2026
• This is not the Admit Card for JEE (Main)-2026 Session 1, but an advance intimation for the allotment of the City where the Examination Centre will be located
• Admit Card for JEE (Main)-2026 Session 1 will be issued later

1. Check Examination City Intimation Slip: Candidates need to log in to the website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/ using their login credentials to check/download their Examination City Intimation slip.
2. Verify Examination City: Go through the instructions contained in the downloaded Examination City Intimation slip and verify the allotted examination city.
3. Contact Helpline (if required): In case of any difficulty in downloading/checking the Examination City Intimation Slip, candidates can contact the NTA on 011-40759000 or e-mail at jeemain@nta.ac.in.
4. Regularly check official websites: The Candidates are advised to keep visiting the official websites of NTA (www.nta.ac.in) and (https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/) for the latest update.
