Seeking Scribe details for availing the facility of Scribe by PwD/ PwBD candidates in CUET (UG)- 2026-regarding.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an important public notice on 30 April 2026 regarding the facility of scribes for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates appearing for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET (UG) - 2026). The NTA is conducting the CUET (UG) – 2026 in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode from 11 May to 31 May 2026 at various locations throughout India and in cities outside India.

During the initial CUET (UG) 2026 registration process, PwD and PwBD candidates were given the option to choose their own scribe and submit these details during the city intimation slip phase. To facilitate this smoothly, NTA has opened a dedicated online window for candidates to upload and register their scribe details. It is critical for candidates who opted to bring their own scribe to complete this registration within the stipulated timeline to ensure seamless arrangements on the day of the exam.

2. Log in using your registered Application Number and Password.
3. On the candidate home page, locate and click on the 'Register Scribe Details' button. (Please note: This button will only be visible to candidates who opted for their own scribe during registration and intended to provide details during Exam City Intimation).
4. Choose the appropriate scribe option and enter the details of the scribe as applicable.
5. Submit the information. Once submitted successfully, the details will be reflected in the 'View Application Form' link on the left-hand side of the candidate home page and on the final confirmation page.
