The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released an important public notice on 29 April 2026 regarding the Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)] – 2026. This notice acts as an advance intimation for the allotment of examination cities to registered candidates. The CUET (UG) - 2026 examination is scheduled to take place from 11 May to 31 May 2026 at various exam centers located across India and in cities outside India. The exam will be fully conducted in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
Candidates should carefully note that this Advance City Intimation Slip is NOT the actual Admit Card for CUET (UG) - 2026. Its primary purpose is to provide advance information regarding the city where the examination center will be located, allowing candidates to make their travel and logistics arrangements in a timely manner. The actual Admit Card for the examination will be issued by the NTA separately at a later date.
Additionally, NTA has specified that candidates whose live photographs captured during registration did not match their Aadhaar card, or those who registered using any other alternative identity proof, must fulfill specific verification criteria. These candidates are required to carry a signed and attested certificate by their Principal, Head Master, or an authorized Class-I Gazetted Officer (such as a Tehsildar, Revenue Officer, SDM, DM, or Class-I Gazetted Officer of the Indian Embassy for NRI candidates) to the exam center for physical verification on the exam day.
