The National Testing Agency (NTA) has completed its final preparations for the smooth, fair, and secure conduct of the NEET (UG) 2026 Re-Examination on 21 June 2026. This high-stakes medical entrance exam is being administered in traditional pen-and-paper mode. Due to the massive volume of over 22.79 lakh candidates, NTA has coordinated an extensive multi-agency administrative framework to ensure seamless operations across both domestic and international venues.

To facilitate a comfortable and stress-free testing environment, NTA has prioritized candidates' physical well-being alongside stringent security measures. Specialized administrative setups have been established, keeping summer weather conditions in mind. This includes backup generators, drinking water, and on-site medical units. Candidates are advised to stay calm, follow the designated schedules, and rely exclusively on official NTA portals for verified updates.

• Anti-Malpractice Framework: Collaboration with cyber-crime authorities, including I4C/MHA and CBI, to actively track and prevent social media misinformation and question paper leaks.
• Biometric Verification Exception: If technical issues, poor fingerprint quality, or UIDAI connectivity problems prevent biometric verification, candidates will not be barred. Instead, they can sign a written undertaking and proceed to write the exam after manual document verification.
• Diabetic Candidate Provisions: Diabetic candidates are allowed to carry essential sugar tablets and specific fruits (banana, apple, orange) alongside a transparent water bottle.

1. Verify Your Admit Card Details: Download your admit card from the official website and double-check the exact address of your exam center. Do not rely solely on third-party mapping applications, as they may show incorrect location pins.
2. Gather Mandatory Documents: Ensure you have a printed copy of your admit card, one original valid photo ID, and two passport-size photographs (to be affixed to the attendance sheet).
3. Follow the Reporting Timeline: Reach your assigned exam center well within the window of 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Note that entry gates will close sharp at 1:30 PM, and no entry will be allowed under any circumstances after this time.
4. Adhere to the Dress Code: If you wear customary or religious attire, or plan to wear full-sleeves/woollens, arrive early at the exam hall to facilitate thorough security frisking without delay.
