Extension of Last Date for Submission of Photo Verification Certificate for Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)] – 2026-reg.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an official public notice dated 14 April 2026 announcing the extension of the last date for submitting the Photo Verification Certificate for the Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)] – 2026. This notification is in continuation of the earlier public notice issued on 07 April 2026 regarding the mandatory uploading of a duly signed and attested Photo Verification Certificate along with a recent certified photograph by non-Aadhaar candidates and Aadhaar/DigiLocker candidates.

Recognizing the challenges candidates face, the NTA has decided to extend the timeline to ensure all aspiring candidates have ample opportunity to complete this essential step. The Photo Verification Certificate Module is currently active on the NTA database, allowing candidates to download the certificate form, get it attested, and upload the completed document online.

Candidates must complete this process before the revised deadline to prevent issues on the day of the exam. 2. Locate and download the Photo Verification Certificate form.
3. Paste a recent, high-quality, and duly certified photograph on the printed certificate.
4. Get the certificate form properly signed and attested by the specified authority.
5. Scan the fully attested certificate clearly.
6. Log in to the application portal and upload the scanned, attested Photo Verification Certificate before the extended deadline of 16 April 2026.
7. Print a physical copy of the uploaded certificate and preserve it safely.
8. Carry the physical, printed copy of the attested certificate to your assigned examination center for mandatory verification on the day of the exam.
