Correction in the particulars of the online Application Form of Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)] – 2026 – Reg.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the opening of the correction window for the online Application Form of the Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)] – 2026. As per the public notice dated 09 February 2026, this highly anticipated correction facility provides registered candidates with a one-time opportunity to rectify any errors or make necessary modifications to their submitted applications. The correction window is active for a highly restricted duration from 09 February to 11 February 2026 (up to 11:50 PM).

The CUET (UG) – 2026 examination itself is scheduled to be conducted from 11 May to 31 May 2026 onwards in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across various examination centres in India and abroad. Candidates are strongly advised to leverage this editing window to ensure all their records are authentic and accurate, as the NTA will not entertain any further correction requests under any circumstances after the deadline. All final corrections will only be updated post-successful payment of any applicable additional fees, which may vary depending on the category or subject changes made by the candidate.

• Crucial Deadlines: The correction window remains open from 09 February 2026 to 11 February 2026 (up to 11:50 PM).
• Exam Schedule: CUET (UG) - 2026 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode from 11 May to 31 May 2026.
• Strictly Non-Editable Fields: Candidates cannot change their Mobile Number, E-mail address, Permanent and Present Address, Emergency contact details, and Photograph.
• Partially Editable Fields (Only One Allowed): Candidates can change either Candidate Name OR Father Name OR Mother Name.
• Fully Editable Fields: Candidates are permitted to edit all fields in Class 10/equivalent details, Class 12/equivalent details, Date of Birth, Gender, Category, Sub-category/PwD/PwBD (if not verified by UDID), and Signature.
• Exam City & Medium Adjustments: Candidates can change exam cities based on their Permanent and Present address. Notably, candidates who previously chose Delhi as their exam city can now choose Delhi/NCR.
• Subject/Language Additions: Candidates can add or edit their choice of Domain subjects, languages, and the General Aptitude Test, up to a maximum limit of 05 (five) subjects.
• Identity Details: Candidates registered with an identity proof other than Aadhaar are allowed to update/verify their Aadhaar details.
• Fee Implications: If modifications affect the overall fee structure (e.g., changing categories or adding subjects), candidates must pay the additional balance. Any excess fee paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

2. Log In to Your Account: Enter your application number, password, and the required security pin to access your candidate dashboard.
3. Access the Correction Window: Click on the link designated for the "CUET (UG) 2026 Correction Window".
4. Review and Modify Fields Carefully: Edit the permitted fields (such as academic details, exam city preferences, medium, category, or selected subjects) as outlined in Annexure-1. Remember, this is a strict one-time correction facility; once submitted, the form will be frozen and cannot be changed again.
5. Pay Additional Fees (If Applicable): If your changes involve adding subjects or switching categories that demand an increased fee, proceed to pay the additional amount via the integrated online payment gateway.
6. Final Submission and Print: Review all modified details carefully, submit the updated application, and download/print the revised confirmation page for future reference.
