Declaration of the Result/NTA Scores for the Joint Entrance Examination [JEE (Main) – 2026] of Paper 1 (B.E. / B.Tech.) – reg.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the much-awaited NTA Scores and Results for the Joint Entrance Examination [JEE (Main) – 2026] Paper 1 (B.E. / B.Tech.) on 20 April 2026. Following the mandate of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, the NTA successfully conducted the examination in two sessions: Session 1 in January 2026 and Session 2 in April 2026. This prestigious exam serves as the primary gateway for admissions to premier engineering programs (B.E./B.Tech.) across the country and acts as the eligibility test for JEE (Advanced) 2026.
To ensure maximum accessibility, the exam was conducted completely in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across 13 languages (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu). The second session alone saw immense global participation, administered at 584 unique examination centres in 319 Cities, which included 15 cities outside India (Manama, Doha City, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, Kuwait, Kuala Lumpur, Kathmandu, Abu Dhabi, West Java, Washington, Lagos, Munich, and Dammam). For candidates who appeared in both sessions, the NTA has declared their results based on the best of the two NTA scores achieved.
This year's results highlight outstanding academic achievements, with 26 candidates securing a perfect 100 percentile in JEE (Main) 2026 Paper 1. Along with individual scores, the NTA has declared the official category-wise cut-offs required for candidates to become eligible to register and appear for the JEE (Advanced) – 2026 examination.
