Public Notice Update: CUET (UG) 2026 Examination City/Date/Shift Selection

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a crucial public notice regarding the facility for selecting the Examination State/City/Date/Shift for the CUET (UG) 2026 examination. This notice, dated May 06, 2026, supersedes a previous one from May 05, 2026. It addresses candidates who were allotted an examination State/City different from their initial preferences and provides updated guidelines for requesting changes.

Due to unforeseen logistic and operational challenges, the NTA has revised the scope of changes that can be made. While the extended facility was initially for selecting examination State/City/Date/Shift, it is now being clarified that only changes to the examination State and City will be considered. Any requests previously submitted for changes in examination date and shift will not be entertained, and the originally allotted schedule will remain unchanged. Candidates who wish to submit new requests are also advised to make changes only to their examination State and City within the stipulated extended deadline.

• Superseding Notice: This Public Notice dated 06 May 2026 replaces the previous one dated 05 May 2026.
• Scope of Changes: Due to logistic and operational challenges, only changes to the examination State and City will be considered.
• Previous Requests: Requests submitted for changes in examination date and shift will not be entertained.
• Unchanged Schedule: The originally allotted examination date and shift will remain unchanged for all candidates.
• New Requests: Candidates intending to submit requests henceforth should only change their examination State and City.
