The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released a public notice on 11 April 2026 regarding the display of Provisional Answer Keys and Recorded Response Sheets for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2026 Session 2 (April 2026). This facilitates the window for candidates to raise objections or challenges against the provisional answer keys of Paper 1 (B.E./B. Tech.).
The JEE (Main) – 2026 Session 2 was successfully conducted on 02, 04, 05, 06, and 08 April 2026 for Paper 1 (B.E./B. Tech.) and on 07 April 2026 for Paper 2A (B. Arch.) and Paper 2B (B. Planning). The examination spanned 567 Centres located in 306 Cities across India and 14 Cities outside India. Candidates can now access their question papers along with recorded responses on the official portal and submit challenges by paying a non-refundable processing fee of ₹ 200/- per question challenged.
All challenges submitted by candidates during the scheduled window will be thoroughly verified by a panel of subject experts. If a challenge is found to be correct, the Answer Key will be revised and applied uniformly to the responses of all candidates. The final results will be prepared and declared based on these final, verified answer keys. No individual candidate will receive a separate communication regarding the acceptance or rejection of their challenge, and the keys finalized by the Experts will be absolute and final.
