Display of Provisional Answer Keys and Question Papers with Recorded Responses for Answer Key Challenge of Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)]-2026 -reg.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released a public notice on 09 June 2026 regarding the Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)]-2026. This notice marks the release of the Provisional Answer Keys and Question Papers with Recorded Responses for all candidates who appeared in the exam. Candidates now have the opportunity to challenge any answer keys they believe to be incorrect.

CUET (UG)-2026 was successfully conducted by NTA from 11 to 31 May 2026 and 06 to 07 June 2026 in multiple shifts across India and various international centers. The high-stakes examination was held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for a massive cohort of 15,68,867 registered candidates.

Candidates who are unsatisfied with the provisional answer key may submit a formal challenge online. Subject experts will verify all submitted challenges. If any challenge is validated, the answer key will be revised accordingly, and a final answer key will be published. The final results will be computed and declared based on this revised final answer key. No individual notifications will be sent to candidates regarding the status of their challenges.

1. Go to the official NTA website: https://cuet.nta.nic.in.
2. Click on the link 'Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key'.
3. Log in with your Application Number and Password, then enter the captcha code displayed and click submit.
4. Click on 'View Question Paper' to view your marked/recorded responses, and click 'Click to view/Challenge Answer Key' to view or challenge the answer keys.
5. Note: The Question IDs in the Answer Key list are not presented in sequential order. You are advised to refer to the Question Paper and match the corresponding Question IDs to those listed in the Answer Key.
6. The ID listed next to the question under the column 'Correct Option(s)' stands for the correct Answer Key to the question as per NTA.
7. If you wish to challenge this option, click the check box next to any one or more of the Option IDs provided in the next four columns.
8. (Optional) You can upload supporting documents by clicking 'Choose File'. Note that all supporting documents must be compiled into a single PDF file.
9. Once you have marked your desired options, scroll down and click 'Submit and review Claims' to proceed to the next screen.
10. A screen will display all the Option IDs that you have challenged.
11. Click 'Modify your Claims' if you want to adjust your challenges, or click 'Final Submit' to lock your responses.
12. After saving your claims, click on the 'Pay Now' button.
13. Select your mode of payment and pay the processing fee of ₹200/- per question challenged through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
14. Your claims will be successfully saved and processed only after the successful payment of the requisite fee.
