The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official Advisory and Instructions for the Candidates of the Common University Entrance Test CUET (PG) – 2026. The examination is scheduled to be conducted between 06 March 2026 and 27 March 2026. Candidates must strictly adhere to the guidelines provided in their admit cards, including reporting times, gate closing times, and test shift details to ensure a smooth examination experience.

• Exam Duration: 90 minutes (1 hour 30 minutes).
• Marking Scheme: +4 for each correct answer; -1 for each incorrect answer; 0 for unanswered questions.
• Test Format: Computer-based test (CBT) with 75 questions.
• Language/Bilingualism: Question papers are generally bilingual (English/Hindi), with specific exceptions for M.Tech/Higher Sciences (English only) and Acharya papers (Sanskrit/Trilingual/Bilingual as specified).
• Prohibited Items: Electronic devices, mobile phones, and packed food (diabetic students may carry sugar tablets/fruits/water).
• Biometrics: Aadhaar authentication is mandatory; ensure biometric facility is unlocked.

2. Verify all details on the Admit Card: Date of Examination, Shift, Timing, Venue, and Reporting Time.
3. If you did not register via Aadhaar, ensure you report to the center at least 1 hour before the gate closing time for manual verification.
4. Prepare your physical documents: Clear A4 printout of the Admit Card, one original valid Photo ID (PAN/Aadhaar/Passport, etc.), and two passport-sized photographs identical to the one on your application.
5. On exam day, reach the center by the reporting time mentioned on your admit card.
6. Read the 'General Instructions' (Annexure I) and 'Subject-Specific Instructions' (Annexure II) carefully before starting the exam on the computer screen.
